Military Trend, Yes Yes!!

Military Trend, So i have been writing about the military trend and i even posted a blog dedicated to Military Boots, but now I'm going to write a full blog of the Military Trend. I believe the trend started a few months ago since Fall 2009, when i was flipping through an ELLE Magazine and i found myself reading the new trends that had been unleashed from the runway and It the Military trend caught my attention. And it made its way up to the streets and then I saw Celebrities showing off their military side.

Studs and Details :)

Studs, I remember not so long ago, Punks and rockers will decorate their backpacks with studs, i never thought we will be following a trend started by them. How do i know this? My bro used to do this....I love studs to  anything that decorates a garment with gemstones, metal buttons, decorative details and what else ;) Now Studs are here to stay, everything is covered in studs now. Jackets, Gloves, Rings, Accessories, Bags, Shoes, Dresses, Tops and Bottoms. So a trendy tip: Buy clothing with lots of studs <3

   There are a lot of cute dresses that are studded, from one shoulder to many other forms of dresses. Everyone is wearing studs, even celebrities and OMG Designers are using them too as you saw above.
Many might say that studs are a form of rebellion since punks are the ones who started to use them offensively on belts and necklaces or bracelets. But its not the same when studs are being used as a form of fashion nowadays.

Here is a pic of when we used to see a lot of people dressed this way and many will take it offensively. They have studded leather jackets and some will wear chains in there neck.

So who woulds have ever thought the stud trend will derive from these rebellious group. Well we all know Vivienne Westwood was a huge collaborator to starting punk trends so i guess she was a huge motivation. I'm not saying shes the one who started using studs but she is a popular icon in the fashion industry. Well theres a little background on studs :]

The Infamous Leather

Leather Jackets, it has become a trend over the past years since the Rocker Era in the late 70's. Well  we have always try to mix match our outfit with a leather jacket when fall or winter arrives, and i think its crucial to own one in our wardrobes to always feel trendy. Since the military look is going on i think we can always work something out with our leather jacket. P.s If you can't Afford one like me, there are cheap leather jackets that just look genuine. I recently bought one because every season should always be upgraded, the point is i found it really cheap for $17.99 :)

There are ways on how you can find deals for the trendy items....Now if you are bursting money out of your pocket, by all means go ahead get yourself those cute genuine leather jackets. I saw one at Banana Republic that just came out during this month>>can't find the jacket online but OMG it was $298 and i still have debts to pay so that's a no-no for me but it was just so pretty<the jacket>.I remember there was a time when Forever 21 released their new clearance line where they were selling few items for cheap prices and  leather jackets for $20 that was like too good to be true and i was the lucky ones to try them on but the unlucky ones to purchase one, the story goes like this, that week on a Tuesday i went to forever 21 on my lunch break when i used to work at Macy's and i saw the jackets, now my payday  was on Friday and i didn't have money  on me so when i came back on Friday they were all gone, out of sight, nowhere to be seen SIGH * yes very sad :/ It only lasted 3 days, i recalled a Sales Associate telling me. Anyways that's my story moving on, there's also leather everywhere,  from leather jackets to leather gloves, leather mini skirts, leather dresses, leather leggings, leather boots, leather bags and who knows what else is leather. I am a big fan of leather gloves and studs, really cute <3 But yes! winter is coming up so if you weren't able to purchase leather for fall, winter is still open for leather especially with the rain.

Jeggings are just in not only this fall but in-style. Now if someone doesn't know what jeggings are, well here is the definition: a pair of wanna be leggings that look like denim. Now they are so much different from leggings, In my point of view you can can wear jeggings with a short top and it would not look like you're exposing your private part :x They're so much comfortable and it just feels like skinny denim. There is a bunch of different style of jeggings and here i will post the pics for you to see them and where to buy them.  When i first try them on, I actually felt so comfortable and by the ways i bought the black denim forever 21 jeggings. I take them to work and nobody can tell they are jeggings, because it has the texture of slacks, I love them and they're very comfortable!!!<3<3

Military Boots, Yes or No?

                                                     Military Boots, so i personally have never been a big fan of masculine boots, yet the other day i spotted them in a store and decided to try them on. Omg! I fell in love with them and they were only $16. And this is when i say people should know how to go bargain shopping for items that look good :) I ended up not buying it because i am not the type of person that would wear them but if you don't know me, you should know that i would buy anything that i like so i might go back for them<3 Anyways, the Military trend is going on this fall so here are few pics of  celebs that look nice with these cute boots..

Knee High Boots

Knee High Boots are very stylish whether it's leather, fur or suede. They're great for the upcoming weather in winter, must have these lovely boots.

P.s Many people can't afford real leather but that's okay because i cant either so that's why this fall trend is faux fur and i guess faux leather ;) Just remember to know how to shop for bargain items, the purpose of it, its to not go for the cheap looking items but for the cheap items that look similar to the real ones. Ex.below.

OK so take a look at this Grey boot, not bad but if you want to go for a trendy look and dress stylish, I don't personally think you would like this boot. Now Just a tip of advice: Avoid big metal belt buckles on boots. There are cute and look less cheap when they are small.
